JMT Contracting and Investments was founded by Sim Thomas, native Atlantan, in August 1999 where his dream of real estate investing finally came to life. His original plan was renovating existing homes into luxury paradises for those who appreciate upscale living but admire older housing structures. From this successful venture, I uncovered additional opportunities within the real estate industry to support individuals and organizations through property strategy and execution initiatives designed to deliver successful outcomes.

As we all know and will never forget September 11, 2001, was a life-changing event for all. During this time, many lost loved ones, finances, real estate, and jobs. The US economy was in the worst shape it had ever been in since the Great Depression. Since that dreadful day, the real estate industry has continued to be a haven for many. Not only did it keep the US economy out of recession, but also, it has become the building block for those desiring to be entrepreneurs.

Sim is an alumnus of Georgia State University where he majored in Economics and Finance, devoted husband, and a proud father of one son. His Christian walk as a devout Deacon and community activist has been the foundation of his business model to protect and consult those who have been misrepresented or misdirected regarding real estate investment choices.
